1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Precision Movers Chicago website (precisionmovers.icu) or by booking any moving, storage, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Precision Movers provides residential and commercial moving, packing, unpacking, storage, specialty item handling, and related logistics services. The specific scope of work will be detailed in a written estimate or service agreement provided prior to the move date.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are binding unless additional services are requested on move day. Prices are calculated based on the inventory, distance, crew size, and selected services. Any changes to the inventory or scope may result in an adjusted final bill. All charges are due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that our crew has safe and legal access to both origin and destination locations, including parking permits or elevator reservations if required. You must also secure or remove any items you do not wish to be moved and inform us of any hazardous materials. Precision Movers is not liable for damage caused by improperly packed boxes unless packed by our team.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Local moves may be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Long‑distance moves require 7 days' notice. Cancellations inside these windows may incur a fee of up to 15% of the estimated total. Deposits, if any, are fully refundable when the appropriate notice is given.

6. Liability and Insurance

Our standard carrier liability covers $0.60 per pound per article. Full‑value replacement protection is available for an additional charge and must be selected before the move begins. Precision Movers is not responsible for pre‑existing damage, items of extraordinary value not declared, or loss due to events beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic delays).

7. Storage Terms

Storage services are billed month‑to‑month. Payment is due in advance on the first of each month. After 30 days of non‑payment, we reserve the right to terminate the storage agreement and dispose of the stored items in accordance with Illinois law. Access to storage units is available during business hours with 24‑hour advance notice.

8. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. Any unauthorized use, including scraping, automated data collection, or attempts to interfere with site functionality, is strictly prohibited. All content on this site, including text, images, and design, is owned by Precision Movers Chicago and protected by copyright law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Precision Movers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
